Gather Challenge Update!

As you know, June’s theme at Ripple Headquarters is “Gathering.” We started off the month by issuing a “Gather challenge.” Did you see it? Are you doing it? If so, how did it go?

If not, there’s still time!

I wanted to share a few updates from some of our Ripplers who have taken on the challenge.

Tina, an avid Rippler, stepped up and took the challenge. She organized her own fun online happy hour to introduce several people she met online during lockdown that she thought needed to know one another. The result? “It was better than I expected. Everyone had a really good time and the conversations lasted well past the hour we had planned for. We are already planning another one!”

Terry took the challenge and arranged for a few of his clients to meet one another at a local BBQ restaurant. He called it “BBQ and conversation” and it was a huge success. So much so, two of his clients are actually talking about working on a project together.

Mona got several of her past teammates together for a little coffee meetup. She told me she had worked with so many cool people over the years that it made sense to introduce current and past co-workers to each other. They are already talking about making it a regular thing.

Mara told me she arranged for her best friend and her best work friend to meet over drinks. She said aside from the thumping headache the next day (thanks to the Tito’s Vodka they had all partaken in) it was, she said, “Such an unexpectedly fun night of conversation with two of my favorite peeps!”

Here’s the thing.

When you gather up great people that without you, may never know one another, you are creating something pretty special, an opportunity for connection, collaboration, storytelling, and of course Rippling.

So, my friends, there is still time to answer the bell and step up and do our Gather Challenge! Check out the video I made that sort of got this whole thing Rippling in the right direction: WATCH THE VIDEO

And share your experience with me. Let me know how it goes and what kind of impact you made by doing it! Shoot me an email steve AT ripplecentral dot com.

Ripple On!!!
